Location
Qusar: Azerbaijan's mountain gateway
Red cliffs, oak forests and the summit of Shahdag — EdenRise sits in one of the most scenic corners of the country.
The Qusar district lies at the north-eastern foot of the Greater Caucasus. Mountain rivers have cut deep valleys here, the slopes are covered with oak and beech forests, and the 4,243-metre summit of Shahdag rises on the horizon. EdenRise is built inside this landscape — away from the city, yet easy to reach by road.
Shahdag Resort
Azerbaijan's largest ski resort in winter; cable cars, mountain lakes and trekking routes in summer.
Laza waterfalls
A mountain village famous for waterfalls pouring off the cliffs and for its alpine scenery. The Qusar–Laza road is worth a trip in itself.
Qusar & Lezgi culture
The district centre offers a local bazaar, Lezgi cuisine and warm hospitality. In the mountain villages, old customs are alive to this day.
Forest walks
The oak forests and the river valley around the villas are ideal for walking — morning mist, birdsong and clean mountain air.
Open all year round
Cool +25°C mountain air in summer, a comfortable base for Shahdag in winter, golden forests in autumn and blooming valleys in spring — EdenRise is beautiful in its own way in every season.
